This rose is an excellent addition to out selections of Polyanthas. Its clustered flowers are dark carmine rose and are fully double, very much like 'Gabrielle Privat.' Its growing habit, on the other hand, is more open and cascading and its flowers have a light, musky scent. 'Excellenz von Schubert' makes a lovely container rose or specimen in the front of a border planting.

Always a Shining Star in my flower beds. I have close to 30 different roses in my beds and this is my all time favorite. It’s a beautiful work horse and never disappoints me with its graceful arching canes that are in a constant state of heavy blooms. I absolutely love this rose and will never be without it.
