NURSERY CROP PRODUCTION FACILITIES
Field Crew
- Hands-on work with roses plants, trees & shrubs
- Planting, pruning, weeding, watering & general care of plants

AT THE NURSERY & DISPLAY GARDENS:
Landscape Maintenance Crew Member (Outdoor + Event Support)
We’re looking for a dependable, hard-working team member to join our Nursery & Display Gardens and help maintain our 9-acre garden center, nursery, and event venue. This is a hands-on, outdoor role where you’ll stay active and see the impact of your work every day.
In this role, you will:
- Maintain lawns and grounds through mowing, edging, and weed eating
- Care for garden beds through weeding, pruning, planting, and general upkeep
- Keep the property clean, organized, and guest-ready at all times
- Assist with setting up and breaking down tables and chairs for weddings and events
- Support seasonal tasks like mulching, watering, and planting
- Help with occasional off-site landscape maintenance as needed
We’re looking for someone who:
- Is reliable, shows up on time, and ready to work
- Enjoys working outdoors in Texas weather conditions
- Can frequently lift 40–50 lbs and stay active throughout the day
- Has experience in landscaping, lawn care, or general labor (preferred, but not required)
- Is comfortable using mowers, trimmers, and basic tools
- Is a team player with a strong work ethic and willingness to jump in where needed

Garden Generalist (Gift Shop Focus)
We’re looking for a Garden Generalist to join our Nursery & Display Gardens team and help create a welcoming, beautiful experience for every guest, from the garden paths to the Gift Shop checkout counter.
In this role, you will:
- Provide friendly, knowledgeable assistance to guests selecting plants, garden supplies, and gift shop items
- Serve as the main cashier, processing transactions accurately and efficiently through our POS system
- Share product knowledge, seasonal promotions, and basic gardening advice with enthusiasm
- Maintain an inviting, organized, and well-stocked Gift Shop environment
- Restock and creatively merchandise retail displays
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate restocking needs
- Maintain assigned nursery sections through watering, pruning, deadheading, fertilizing, and weeding
- Assist with unloading, tagging, and restocking plant deliveries
- Support special events, festivals, and peak seasonal sales days

Garden Generalist – Nursery Sales (Plant Knowledge & Customer Support)
We’re looking for a Garden Generalist with a focus on Nursery Sales to help guide guests through the heart of our Gardens, where roses bloom, and plant dreams begin.
In this role, you will:
- Guide customers in selecting roses, perennials, shrubs, and companion plants
- Provide basic plant care advice, including planting, watering, sun exposure, fertilizing, and seasonal maintenance
- Create a welcoming, educational shopping experience in the nursery
- Maintain nursery presentation by straightening plants, refreshing signage, and keeping aisles clear and inviting
- Support inventory organization, tagging, and restocking of plant material
- Assist with unloading and placing plant deliveries as needed
- Collaborate with horticulture staff to ensure accurate, up-to-date information is shared with customers

We are looking for a Plant Merchandiser. This position receives, inventories and organizes plant deliveries, placing stock in designated areas for optimal display and accessibility. Maintains clean, attractive merchandising zones that highlight seasonal and featured plants.
In this role, you will:
- Receive, inventory, organize, and place incoming plant deliveries in designated areas
- Create and maintain clean, attractive plant displays that highlight seasonal and featured products
- Rotate stock to ensure healthy plants are front-facing and accessible to customers
- Support seasonal resets and special merchandising projects
- Keep merchandising zones tidy, well-labeled, and visually cohesive
- Collaborate with nursery and retail teams to align displays with sales goals

- Can lift 25–40 lbs and operate basic landscaping equipment safely
