Turn time in the garden into hands-on family fun with 101 Kid-Friendly Plants, a playful and practical guide by Cindy Krezel.
Designed to help children connect with nature, this engaging book introduces plants that are safe, easy to grow, and full of personality- from soft, touchable leaves to flowers that move, smell, or even surprise. Kids will love interacting with favorites like snapdragons that “snap,” velvety lamb’s ear, and the fascinating sensitive plant that folds when touched.
Beyond plant selection, the book features 17 creative garden projects that turn learning into an experience. Families can plant a butterfly garden to attract pollinators, grow a “pizza garden” with edible ingredients, design a whimsical fairy garden, or create a sensory space filled with textures and scents.

We ship our roses from September to May. Other items ship year round.
At checkout, you may choose your desired delivery timeframe. This is a very important step!
We do ask that you make sure the weather in your zone is suitable for receiving and plating your roses.
Antique Rose Emporium is in Texas and the December weather can be anywhere from below freezing to 80 degrees Fahrenheit. But our weather is extremely mild compared to the northern United States.
We want you to have the best success possible with your roses and ask that you let us care for them over the winter and receive them at the time that you plan to plant.
Please ensure that you are not experiencing freezing temperatures and the ground is not frozen when you plan to receive your rose.
