6 to 10 feet
Few roses create the soft, cascading elegance of Sea Foam. Introduced in 1963 and bred by Ernest W. Schwartz, this creamy-white shrub rose has long been celebrated as one of the finest landscape roses ever introduced, and remains a garden favorite decades later.
Clusters of very double, 2½" blooms (approximately 35 petals) unfurl in waves of creamy white, covering the plant in frothy, cloud-like sprays throughout the growing season. Decorative buds open into softly ruffled blossoms that glow against glossy, dark green foliage. Fragrance is light and fresh; subtle, but pleasant when enjoyed up close.
Classified as a shrub yet often used as a trailing or groundcover rose, Sea Foam grows 2–3 feet tall and can spread up to 5-10 feet wide, gracefully spilling over walls, edging pathways, or cascading from raised beds. It may also be lightly trained as a low climber for added versatility.
As part of the Earth-Kind™ program, Sea Foam is recognized for its exceptional durability and low-maintenance performance. Hardy in Zones 4–9, it blooms continually in generous flushes throughout the season, offering reliable color with minimal fuss.
Whether planted en masse for a sweeping landscape effect or allowed to tumble freely in a cottage-style garden, Sea Foam delivers season-long beauty in the most effortless way.

We do ask that you make sure the weather in your zone is suitable for receiving and plating your roses.
Antique Rose Emporium is in Texas and the December weather can be anywhere from below freezing to 80 degrees Fahrenheit. But our weather is extremely mild compared to the northern United States.
We want you to have the best success possible with your roses and ask that you let us care for them over the winter and receive them at the time that you plan to plant.
Please ensure that you are not experiencing freezing temperatures and the ground is not frozen when you plan to receive your rose.
