We ship our roses from September to May. Other items ship year round.

At checkout, you may choose your desired delivery timeframe. This is a very important step!

We do ask that you make sure the weather in your zone is suitable for receiving and plating your roses.

Antique Rose Emporium is in Texas and the December weather can be anywhere from below freezing to 80 degrees Fahrenheit. But our weather is extremely mild compared to the northern United States.

We want you to have the best success possible with your roses and ask that you let us care for them over the winter and receive them at the time that you plan to plant.

Please ensure that you are not experiencing freezing temperatures and the ground is not frozen when you plan to receive your rose.

I had my New Dawn Rose for maybe 15 years. I live in Southeast Georgia. She faced the morning sun that she loved so much. She shared her lovely feminine aroma as we walked by or sat several feet away. She never had any kind of disease or any problem ever. After many years, the tree that she loved to climb and share her beauty with, was giving her far too much shade, but she continued to climb its branches, poking her face out to see the sun. The roses became 2 inches in diameter during her later years. The tree became far too big and had to be removed, and the rose had to be removed to accommodate. My sweet New Dawn did not survive the drastic cutting of its roots. I sure miss her.

So far, so good, I think. They are rather spindly looking plants at the moment - clearly only a year old, etc. But with proper fertilizer and time, I have high hopes…
