The San Antonio Display garden is set among the hills just northeast of San Antonio on Cibolo Creek at 7561 East Evans Road. This unique garden presents the perfect setting for your garden wedding or other grand event. Rose covered arbors and a spacious lawn embellish the venue. In addition, old garden roses are planted among perennials and Texas natives to form borders around our two facilities, the Hacienda de Las Rosas and the Casita del Cibolo.
The newest of the two is the adobe Hacienda de las Rosas, showcasing a large centrally air-conditioned and heated, vaulted ceiling, grand room (30’ x 50’) with adjoining kitchen and two bathrooms. The room opens onto covered twelve-foot porches from four cedar doors, thereby enlarging the view and space of the gardens beyond. Regardless of the season, beautifully landscaped gardens create a feeling of fantasy and romance.
The Hacienda de Las Rosas can accommodate up to 200 people with auditorium style seating and with an open interior of 1500 square feet, 150 people can be comfortably seated for dinner. The lawn and porch areas provide additional room if necessary.
For smaller gatherings consider the Casita del Cibolo. Tucked away under the Texas Cedars, this 20’ x 40’ room opens on both sides to private courtyards and gardens. This room is ideal for bridal luncheons, meetings, showers, or staff retreats. Each courtyard features a water fountain, with one emphasizing the theme of Old Mexico and the other of exotic Morocco. To the back of the Casita is a large deck that can easily accommodate fifty guests. Close by is located the quaint, but fully modern outdoor bathroom.
Weekend rentals are for one of three days: Friday, Saturday, or Sunday. Rental hours are from 12:00 noon to 12:00 midnight. A five gallon bag of rose petals is available, weather permitting, to each renter of the facilities. Also included are 150 wood folding chairs, (8) 60 " round and (10) 6 foot rectangular tables.
Daytime and evening rental is available for groups wishing to rent only the Hacienda or the Casita during the week for weddings, meetings, retreats, luncheons, etc. Monday through Thursday.
