These delicate single pink flowers are reminiscent of wild buttercups. Thornless, with dark green foliage, this rose’s most interesting quality is the enormous crop of hips that it reliably displays. Plants are small but bushy to four feet and will repeat with lots of fall blooms only if the hips are removed. Ferdinand Roemer was an early German naturalist that collected plant specimens near New Braunfels, TX
